Never Miss a Beat

It’s official! The Read Your World Online Auction is Live

As of May 1st, the non-profit children’s literacy initiative known as Multicultural Children’s Book day is offering their first-ever Read Your World’s first online auction

The auction will remain open through May 15th.

Have you written a children’s book and would love a professional manuscript critique?

Perhaps you have a website and blog posts that need some editing?

With teacher appreciation week around the corner, have you thought of surprising a special teacher with a virtual author visit or a book bundle?

Are you a pet-lover or do you know someone who adores their pet? A custom portrait of their favorite pet will make a great gift! Learning español?

Would your classroom benefit from a one-on-one conversational session with an award-winning author?

Would you love some diverse-book related swag? Or win a book bundle from an award-winning publishing house?

Are you some one with an idea for a book, but don’t know how to get started? Working with a book coach or ghostwriter might be precisely what you need to get your story told!

This and so much more can be found on MCBD’s online auction.

From May 1st until May 15th, 2023, Multicultural Children’s Book Day is auctioning off many fun and unique items to raise money for our organization. Please note that tangible items can only be shipped to addresses within the continental U.S.

Donate Now. You can also support us by making a cash donation. Your donation, in any amount, will go a long way in helping this non-profit to provide diverse books to classrooms and libraries across the country! The AP Team greatly appreciates your donation and support!

Give a Little and Get a Lot in Return. By supporting their auction, you’ll be a part of our mission to make diverse books more accessible to children nationwide.

These books will genuinely be gifts that keep giving–more and more children can read stories with which they can identify and see themselves as central figures in narratives that reflect their journey.

You’ll also be helping MCBD shine the spotlight on diverse books and authors that mainstream publishing and media often overlook.
