Celebrating the Spring Equinox With An Hour of Meditation and Calm

March 16, 2022 by Rebecca Flansburg Leave a Comment

The month of March provides many opportunities for new beginnings. With the Spring Equinox on the horizon, we are excited to celebrate this seasonal shift in community with you.
What does the spring equinox mean spiritually?
At a deeper spiritual level, according to the Conscious Reminder Blog, the equinox is thought to represent: “the period of struggle between darkness and light, death and life. It occurs when the night and day will be equal, and the journey of the Sun to actually get there also signifies the journey of the Universe.
Solstices are the longest and shortest days of the year, while equinoxes occur when the day and night are equally as long.

Have you ever dreamed of a secret place where only you can go and be alone? In a fast-paced world of noise and clutter, a sanctuary filled with flowers and fragrance, one that is sheltered from the rest of the world, is a dream that is easily achieved.

To help others find calm and a reprieve from the hecticness of life, Audrey Press founder and CEO, Valarie Budayr is offering a live (and free!) event on The Mongata Healing Center Facebook Page in honor of the Spring Equinox on March 20th. Here’s a sneak peek.

A Sound Bath or Sound Meditation is a deeply immersive listening experience, inviting listeners to a gentle but profound full body experience. Come nurture and restore your mind and body.
This Sound Bath Meditation is for Anyone and Everyone!

This amazing sound and meditation event will be at 7:00pm CT, 6:00pm ET, and 5:00pm MT. Go HERE to learn more and RSVP.

Like the The Mongata Healing Center Facebook Page to stay in the loop and be sure and check out Valarie’s weekly podcasts as well!

Gorgeous descriptions of New Orleans paired with a brilliant take on vampire lore, all written with a truly authentic teen voice add up to one thing: Hannah Rials’s writing is breathing new life into the paranormal YA world.

I always suspected that certain picture books give dragons an undeserved bad rap. This delightful picture book clears up dangerous and misleading misconceptions about dragons. Dragons, as it turns out, are gentle creatives that love sweets, hoard books, and, most certainly, are real! I'm getting the word out to my kids!

Visually, this book is GORGEOUS! A Year in the Secret Garden is a treasure trove of activities, crafts, games, recipes and information all related to the classic children’s book, The Secret Garden, bringing to life this wonderful book to a new generation of readers. I cannot recommend this beautifully illustrated and detailed, information-packed book highly enough to parents, homeschoolers, teachers, and librarians. Ages 5+

What a beautiful book! The Waldorf Homeschool Handbook has given me much food for thought by reading it. I love it and even though we have already been homeschooling for almost 8 years now with children in highschool, it has been wonderfully refreshing and has encouraged me to relook at how we go about our homeschooling journey.
