Once upon a time, two creative minds had an idea….
Twenty+ months later, that idea has blossomed into an amazing enhanced digital e-book known as The Ultimate Guide to Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
Let’s REWIND:
One day, almost 6 years ago, thanks to a lot of good fortune combined with fate, I came across Roscoe Welply.
At the time, I was putting The Fox Diaries together and needed a really good cover. I went to Odesk and looked through a few portfolios. The 2nd or 3rd portfolio was Roscoe’s. As I continued to look at different people’s work, I kept comparing them to Roscoe. Finally it dawned on me that if I was comparing everyone else to Roscoe that I should probably just ask Roscoe to do the book cover. He did a brilliant cover which graces all versions of The Fox Diaries and he designed the interior as well. I loved his work and he was a delight to work with.
It made me want to write more books and work with this lovely Frenchman again. Long story short, Roscoe became (and is) the “co-creator/co-collaborator) of The Ultimate Guide to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Here are some of the mind-blowing graphics and images he created for Charlie.
He does awesome work, doesn’t he? So that was just a little back history about one of our biggest projects to date.
